 THE ROLE

 To carry out the installation of electrical works on site

  • Assisting with testing and commissioning of installations.
  • Undertaking and recording statutory inspections of plant and equipment
  • Report all accidents, incidents and near misses
  • Attending all organised training sessions and meeting training development plans
  • Minimising impact on & protection of the environment
  • Assisting with the safe, cost effective delivery of electrical installations in line with company SHEQ policies
  • Working at height
  • Working in confined spaces
  • Working in industrial and commercial environments
  • To ensure health and safety of yourself and those around you
  • Ensuring the quality of your work on site is completed right first time & to Bridges standards

 

Requirements

THE CANDIDATE

 

  • Experience within an industrial environment in a similar role
  • Previous Testing experience advantageous
  • Punctuality and reliability
  • Willingness to learn and update occupational and H&S training
  • Fitness to work medical
  • Ability to take instruction
  • Basic numeric and reading skills
  • Able to work on own initiative
  • Working towards appropriate City & Guilds trade Qualification
  • CCNSSG Safety Passport
  • EUSR and ECS cards
  • Emergency first aid or First Aider
  • Fitness to work medical
